    As part of his visit to Knoxville, TN, Ambassador Piotr Wilczek presented a lecture titled "Poland and the World" at the University of Tennessee and was presented with an honorary citizenship of Knox County by mayor Tim Burchett.

    Ambassador Wilczek visited Knoxville, Tennessee on April 12 as a guest of the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at the invitation of former US Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe. The main event of the visit was a lecture for students entitled "Poland and the World". The Ambassador presented on the topic of Polish international politics and the most important goals in the arena of Polish-American relations. 

     

    In addition, the Ambassador held a meeting with scientific researchers and students of the university to discuss international relations.  

     

    The Ambassador met with a group of local officials and entrepreneurs as well as the Mayor of Knox County, Tim Burchett, who bestowed the Ambassador with honorary citizenship of the county.

     

    While in Knoxville, Ambassador Wilczek also visited the headquarters of the Scripps Network where he met with the executives of the firm.
